Sandy Wood is an experienced accounting professional with a robust background in various accounting roles. Currently serving as a Corporate Accountant and Accounting Manager at Associated Grocers of the South, Inc. since August 1999, Sandy is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and retail accounting management, overseeing warehouse billing and DSD invoices for about 200 stores, as well as the monthly filing of sales/use tax across multiple jurisdictions. Prior experience includes working as a Staff Accountant at Worrell, Poole & Company, where Sandy managed financial statements, payroll, and tax returns, and as Office Manager at Painting Services, Inc., handling billing and financial reconciliations. Sandy holds a High School Diploma in Accounting from Locust Fork High School and has attended Jefferson State Community College.
