Sadek Hamdan has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Data Analyst at Assent since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at ion8 from January 2021 to November 2021. From July 2013 to February 2021, Sadek was a Programmer Analyst at the University of Ottawa, where they successfully delivered numerous web application projects, communicated with clients, and recommended software solutions. Before that, they worked as an Internet Specialist at Citizenship and Immigration Canada from November 2012 to March 2013, where they created and updated web content and ensured its accessibility. From March 2008 to October 2012, Sadek served as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, where they designed and implemented an application for videoconferencing systems and conducted a survey on Semantic Web Services. Lastly, from January 2007 to August 2007, they worked as a Web Developer and Technical Support at the University of Ottawa, where they migrated websites, compiled Google Analytics reports, and provided technical support to employees.

Sadek Hamdan's education history begins in 2004 when they started studying Computer Engineering at the University of Ottawa. Sadek completed their Bachelor's degree in this field in 2007. Moving forward, in 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2009. After a gap of several years, Sadek Hamdan returned to the University of Ottawa in 2018, where they enrolled in the Telfer School of Management's Graduate Diploma program. Sadek specialized in Leadership and Management and completed the program in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Sadek Hamdan has obtained two certifications from Microsoft. In July 2023, they achieved the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals certification, followed by the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals certification in February 2023.
