Joanna Wang has a background in user experience design and product design. Joanna currently works at Assent as an Associate Product Designer, starting in January 2023. Before that, they had a co-op position as a Product Designer at Assent from September 2022 to December 2022. Prior to Assent, Joanna worked as a User Experience Designer at the University of Toronto from May 2022 to August 2022. Joanna also has experience at OneClass, where they held roles as a User Experience Designer from June 2020 to February 2021, and as an Educational Consultant from August 2018 to June 2020.

Joanna Wang began their education journey in 2017 at Western University, where they pursued a Master of Professional Education - MEd degree in TESOL. Joanna dedicated their time to this program until 2018. Four years later, in 2021, Joanna embarked on a new academic adventure at the University of Toronto. Over the course of two years, from 2021 to 2023, they worked toward attaining a Master of Information degree with a specialization in User Experience Design.
