Mette Sørensen is an experienced traffic planner and project manager currently employed by Assens Kommune since April 2018, specializing in the planning and promotion of public transport and associated infrastructure. Key responsibilities include leading mobility projects, overseeing collective traffic initiatives, and developing cycling infrastructure and safety campaigns. Prior to this role, Mette held positions at Odense Kommune and Assens Kommune, focusing on traffic planning, safety, and the administration of road laws. Mette holds a Diplomingeniør degree in building technology from the University of Southern Denmark and is currently pursuing further education at Teknikum, expected to complete in January 2027.
