Michael Nishkian has a diverse work experience across various industries. In 2009, they worked as an Enumerator, Crew Leader, and Field Ops Clerk at the U.S. Census Bureau. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Event Manager at California Parking Company. In 2012, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Associate at San Francisco State University. Starting in 2014, they joined Pacific Crane Maintenance Company, LP as a Billing, Inventory Control Specialist, and AR Clerk until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they held the position of Sr. Billing Support at BakerCorp. Michael then worked as a Senior Accounts Receivable and Credit Specialist at Avanti Restaurant Solutions from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist at Pacvue, starting in February 2022.

Michael Nishkian completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, from 2002 to 2006. Michael then pursued higher education and earned a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from San Francisco State University, from 2010 to 2015.
