Geoff Spakes has extensive experience in the door security solutions industry, currently serving as the Openings Studio Technical Consultant at ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions since February 1997. In this role, Geoff oversees the maintenance of Openings Studio specification templates and collaborates with the development team to enhance the Specification Builder tool. Previous positions at ASSA ABLOY include roles such as Door Openings Consultant, Digital Asset Management Director, and Architectural Technologies Manager, where Geoff focused on designing cloud-based software for door opening specifications and training staff on its use. Prior experience includes project management roles at Farrey's Lighting & Bath and A.G. Mauro Company, where Geoff managed the detailing, ordering, and logistics of doors, frames, and hardware for commercial projects. Geoff holds a degree from the University of South Florida, after completing secondary education at Sebring High School.
