Heather Mohan-Gibbons is an accomplished professional in animal behavior and welfare with over 15 years of experience in various leadership and research roles. Currently serving as Director of Learning and Development at the ASPCA since January 2008, Heather designs and delivers comprehensive training programs to enhance staff capabilities and management practices. Previously, in the role of Director of Strategy & Research at the ASPCA, efforts focused on promoting societal value for animals and ensuring their protection. Heather's background includes owning Collected Wisdom Animal Behavior, LLC, where training and behavior modification services were provided, and significant contributions at the Wisconsin Humane Society, where management of dog training programs and behavioral evaluations were key responsibilities. Heather also possesses a solid foundation in wildlife biology and education, holding a Master of Science in Animal Behavior from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Psychology from Winona State University.
