Eleanor L. is an accomplished machine learning scientist with a strong background in pricing algorithms and decision-making models. Currently serving as the Lead Machine Learning Scientist at ASOS.com since November 2020, Eleanor has advanced from Mid to Senior and then to Lead positions, focusing on causal machine learning, optimization, and reinforcement learning. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at Facebook, where Eleanor worked on incrementality prediction and Bayesian modeling, and as a Senior Algorithms Data Scientist at Deliveroo, leading machine learning efforts for rider pricing and operational supply/demand matching. Eleanor's academic foundation includes a PhD in Computational Neuroscience, an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience, and a Bachelorā€™s degree in Psychology, all obtained from University College London.
