Julien Plard has a diverse work experience in the animation and game development industry. Julien'smost recent role is as a Technical Animator at Asobo Studio, where they started in September 2021. Before that, they worked as a 3D Animator at Ubisoft Bordeaux from July 2018 to January 2020, contributing to the animation of NPCs and props for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Julien also worked as a 3D Animator and Technical Artist at BIG BAD WOLF STUDIO from October 2016 to July 2018, focusing on character rig improvements and cloth management for The Council. Prior to that, they were a 3D Character Animator and Rigger at DSC Studio22 from July 2014 to October 2016, creating animations for characters in the video game Energy Heroes and developing a procedural human rig. Julien had a brief internship as a 2D/3D Graphic Designer at Seaven Studio in 2013, where they worked on modeling, texturing, and asset production for the game Ethan: Meteor Hunter. Julien also interned as a 3D Graphic Designer at Nightshift in 2012, where they worked on modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation for various projects. Additionally, they had an internship at Hydravision Entertainment in 2011 as a 2D/3D Graphic Designer, creating avatars and promotional materials for the game Dungeon Twister. Finally, they interned as a 2D Graphic Designer at LeplanB in 2010, where they worked on visual design, Flash animation, and website redesign.
Julien Plard attended Pôle IIID from 2009 to 2012, where they completed their Diplôme de concepteur-réalisateur 3D.
