Alena Burda is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at ASML GROUP since April 2022, Alena oversees the engineering department, driving innovation and project execution. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Orion Health, where responsibilities included designing healthcare solutions and leading a product maintenance team, and as a Senior Design Engineer at Tait Communications, focusing on quality software for critical communication systems. Alena also contributed significantly to BBC's TV Platforms as a Senior Software Engineer and was involved in test automation as a Test Automation Engineer at Tru-Test Pty Ltd. Alena holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Auckland University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Victoria University of Wellington.
