Reza Sahraeian is an Applied Data Scientist at ASML since October 2017, where significant work includes developing an Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system for Afrikaans and enhancing its performance using data from Flemish. Prior to this, Reza completed a Ph.D. at KU Leuven from 2012 to 2017 and served as a Visiting Scholar at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in early 2013. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's, Master's, and Pre-doctoral degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, respectively.
