Maurits Pluimakers is an experienced professional in strategic sourcing and procurement, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement for ASML since September 2020, overseeing a team of nine in the Electronics and Machine Conditioning sector. Previously, Maurits held the position of Manager Source & Procure (a.i.) in supplier operations, managed a team of 15, and implemented internal improvement projects while identifying key performance indicators. With a background as a Senior Tactical Buyer, Maurits developed sourcing strategies and negotiated cost reductions, complemented by experience in various roles including Supply Chain Management Trainee and Tactical Buyer. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Business Economics, as well as Law. Additionally, Maurits contributes to the Advisory Board for the Rijden Tegen Kanker Rally, successfully managing ~50 volunteers for the event benefiting the Dutch Cancer Society.
