Thomas Schmelzle is an experienced Industrial Designer currently working at SDI Technologies, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas served as a Production Designer at Nephros, contributing to various production designs for medical and commercial filtration, as well as employee materials. At Matrix Mirrors, Thomas focused on graphic and web design, including UI/UX for enhanced web interfaces. Additional experience includes serving as a Multimedia Studio Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where responsibilities involved maintaining large format printers and assisting with digital asset editing. Thomas also coordinated events as the Launchpad Lead Student Coordinator for the College of Design at Georgia Tech and worked as a CAD Modeling Consultant for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from Georgia Institute of Technology and participated in an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology.
