Chiyu Zhu is an accomplished Principal Process Engineer and Program Manager at ASM since November 2012, leading a process development team focused on atomic layer deposition (ALD) metal applications for advanced technology nodes. Prior to this role, Chiyu Zhu held positions as Senior Process Engineer II and I, overseeing ALD metal process development for logic and memory applications and pioneering innovative processes involving pure metals, carbides, and nitrides. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant and PhD candidate at Arizona State University, with a research focus on electronic states of high-k materials and phase change oxides, as well as studying multi-layer thin film structures during a Master's program at Fudan University. Chiyu Zhu earned a PhD in Physics from Arizona State University, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Fudan University.
