Ann Marie Svoboda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ann Marie is currently the SVP Corporate Finance & Treasurer at Official ASM Global since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Carestream from 2010 to 2019, where they held the position of VP Finance & Treasurer. During their time at Carestream, they led the corporate finance, financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, treasury, accounts receivable, investor relations, and corporate SG&A functions.

Before joining Carestream, Svoboda worked at Blackworth Publishing LLC where they served as an author. Ann Marie published two books, "Cash Flow Analysis - A Guide for the Corporate Financial Analyst" in December 2018 and "ACTUAL CASH FLOWâ„¢ - The Route Back to Basics in Corporate Finance" in March 2010. These books focused on effective cash flow analysis and presentation for corporate analysts and introduced a cash-based analytics system for internal managers.

Prior to their role at Blackworth Publishing LLC, Svoboda worked for Cadbury plc as the Treasurer - the Americas. In this role, they led all treasury matters for the consumer packaged goods company. Ann Marie was also involved in treasury and corporate finance at Ahold, a food retail and service company, as well as at Wackenhut, a security services and employee outsourcing company. At Wackenhut, they led corporate treasury, accounts receivable, warehousing, and building services departments.

Earlier in their career, Svoboda worked at Culligan International, where they held the position of Manager Financial Analysis & Risk. Ann Marie led the financial analysis (FP&A), treasury, and insurance departments for the global manufacturer of water purification products. Additionally, they have experience as an Entrepreneur, having founded and managed U Svoboda - Health Clubs.

Ann Marie Svoboda earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Ann Marie then pursued further education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained a Master's in International Business Administration (MIM) with a specialization in International Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Ann Marie Svoboda has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Ann Marie became a Certified Cash Manager (CTP) through the Association for Financial Professionals in July 1999. Ann Marie later achieved the designation of Certified Financial Manager through the Institute of Management Accountants in January 2005. In December 2004, they obtained the prestigious Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential. More recently, in April 2020, they became certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis through the Institute of Management Accountants. Furthermore, they hold a Continuing Board Education credential from The ExecRanks, which they obtained in May 2018.
