Emma Ishii is a Local Policy Coordinator at the Asian Pacific Environmental Network since February 2023. Prior to this role, Emma served as a Social Services Policy Associate for the Office of Supervisor Keith Carson on the Alameda County Board of Supervisors from July 2017 to July 2022. Emma's experience includes working as a Fundraising Assistant at Mills College's Office of Institutional Advancement, where responsibilities involved drafting impact statements and engaging with potential donors. Additional roles include a Public Policy Intern at KONO Community Benefit District, a Gallery Assistant at Mills College Art Museum, an intern for Assembly Member Tony Thurmond in the California State Assembly, and a Community Outreach Coordinator Intern at EF Education First. Emma holds a Public Policy degree from Mills College, completed in 2017.
