Monica Gerber is a highly experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Coordinator of Clinical Services and Psychologist at the Asian Pacific Development Center since August 2018. Prior to this role, Monica worked as a Doctoral Student Clinician at the Center for Survivors of Torture from June 2016 to August 2018 and was a Clinical Psychology PhD Student at the University of North Texas from August 2013 to August 2018. Earlier in their career, Monica gained valuable experience as a Case Manager for Refugee Mental Health and Refugee Employment Services at Catholic Charities Fort Worth from October 2011 to August 2013. Additionally, during an internship with the Foundation for Sustainable Development in early 2011, Monica designed and implemented a social and economic empowerment project for individuals living with HIV/AIDS in a rural African community. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Texas, completed in 2010.
