Allan Acosta is a Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC design, currently a member of ASHRAE since May 2023. Previously, Allan worked at Van Boerum and Frank Associates, focusing on system designs in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and fire protection. Allan also has a background in tutoring at Brigham Young University - Idaho, acting as a Reading Center Tutor, and served as a Leads Engineer at Wada Farms, Inc., where process improvement and project management were key responsibilities. Early roles included advising students at the BYU-Idaho Career Center, cashiering at Chipotle Mexican Grill, and serving as a Volunteer Representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Allan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
