Robert Noordhoek Hegt possesses extensive experience in institutional business development and sales management across multiple regions. Currently serving as the Institutional Business Development lead for EMEA at Ashmore since February 2011, Robert also holds the position of Global Head of Institutional Account Management, overseeing all Institutional Clients and managing teams in London and New York, resulting in significant annual revenues. Prior roles include Europe Head of Sales and Marketing at AXA Rosenberg, Director of Business Development at Wellington Management International Limited, and Executive Director of Business Development at Schroders. Robert's career began in portfolio management with HSBC Asset Management in Hong Kong and MeesPierson Capital Management. Robert holds a Drs (MBA equivalent) degree in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
