Nardos Shewadeg is currently a scholar at the Ashinaga Foundation, involved in a leadership program since June 2022. In February 2024, Nardos became a mentee with Voices of Africa, focusing on empowering women's voices across the continent through mentorship and advocacy. Nardos is also an alumni of FAWE, having been a scholar there from September 2016 to April 2021. Experience as a researcher scholar in the Horizon Academic Research Program occurred from March to July 2023, contributing to scientific research while developing research skills. In June 2023, Nardos served as an election executive for the National Election Board of Ethiopia, overseeing voting processes to ensure fairness. Nardos's academic background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedicine at the University of York from September 2024 and a foundation degree in Life Science at the same institution, as well as pre-medical studies at Addis Ababa University and a high school diploma from Bashewam Primary, General and Preparatory School.
