Stephanie Tortell is an accomplished leader in healthcare communications with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as President at Ashfield MedComms, an Inizio Company, since January 2021, Stephanie excels in crafting effective communications that bridge complex scientific concepts across diverse audiences. Previously, as Senior Vice President and Group Medical Director at Ashfield Healthcare Communications, part of UDG Healthcare, Stephanie contributed to the development of innovative and scientifically rigorous healthcare communication solutions. Additional roles include Director of Client Engagement and Agency Head at various Ashfield entities, along with experience in senior positions at Cirrus Communications, Complete Medical Communications, and GlaxoSmithKline. Stephanie began their career as a researcher with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds after earning a BSc Hons in Zoology and related fields from the University of Leeds.
