Alina Molnar has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. In 2004, they were a Cashier and Shift Manager at Rompetrol (KMG International), where they helped and billed customers, organized daily duties, monitored sales and incoming stocks. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at USAMV, Centre for Biodiversity, Botanical Garden Cluj as a University and Volunteer Trainee Germplasm, where they conducted protocol searches in scientific databases, planned germplasm collections, monitored plant genetic resources, and recorded data under FAO standards. In 2017, they relocated to Germany and conducted a job search. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Junior Data Scientist at Data Science Projects, where they upskilled to a Data Scientist with Python and managed a project to reduce beer waste by 28%. Lastly, they worked at asgoodasnew as a Junior Data Scientist, where they helped new joiners with their onboarding process, created and updated documentation in Confluence, and conducted data analytics for sales and stocks using SQL and DAX.
Alina Molnar has a diverse educational background. Alina obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Horticulture from Universitatea de Științe Agricole și Medicină Veterinară din Cluj-Napoca in 2013-2017. Alina then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Life Science - Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca in 2015-2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Economist degree from West University of Timisoara in 2004-2008. Most recently, they completed a Data Scientist degree from DataCamp in 2019. Additionally, Alina has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and DataCamp, including MySQL Essential Training, Python Essential Training, and Writing Efficient Python Code.
