Umut Baran Akyol is a dedicated engineering professional with significant experience in design and software development. Currently serving as a Part Time Design Engineer and Long Term Intern at Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii since October 2022, Umut has previously contributed as a Software Team Member for the ITU Rover Team, focusing on communication system design and camera system configuration from October 2021 to June 2023. Additionally, Umut has been an active member of IEEE İTÜ Öğrenci Kolu from September 2019 to September 2022, holding the role of Vice Chairperson of the Communications Society, where responsibilities included providing technical education and administrative support. A prior internship at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM in July 2022 further enriched Umut's professional experience. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Umut’s educational foundation also includes a secondary education from Macit Zeren Fen Lisesi.
