Doug Sealy has extensive experience in military aviation and training, currently serving as an Ascent Rotary Wing Ground Instructor since September 2014, focusing on teaching tri-Service aircrew and specializing in Rotary Wing Principles of Flight and Maritime Operations. Prior roles at Ascent include Rotary Wing Training Manager and Rotary Wing Training System Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing training programs and developing curricula for UK military pilots. Doug's earlier career includes significant contributions as a Royal Navy Lieutenant Commander and Defence Analyst, coupled with experience in property advisory services and the development of a holiday rental business in France. Doug holds a comprehensive background as a helicopter pilot and instructor, amassing over 4500 flight hours.
