Tara Knisely, MD, MPH, is currently an Emergency Medicine Resident at Ascension since July 2022. Prior to this role, Tara taught English as a Second Language at VIPKid from July 2019 to April 2022 and served as a tutor for medical students preparing for the USMLE Step 1 exam through Medical School Companion from June 2020 to June 2021. Tara has experience as an Academic Research Coordinator at Genesys Regional Medical Center, collaborating on scientific research projects from September 2015 to January 2018, and worked as a Certified Nurse Aide at McLaren Lapeer Region from April 2014 to June 2016. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, a Master's in Public Health from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor's in Physiology from the same institution.
