Syed Ismail Jafri currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at Ascension Florida, a position held since February 2024. In addition, Syed Jafri has been a Board Member at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since February 2022. Previously, Syed Jafri was the President and Chief Medical Officer at BayCare Health System from August 2023 to January 2024 and held the same titles at Ascension Medical Group Florida & Gulf Coast from June 2021 to August 2023. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Banner Health, where Syed Jafri worked from September 2011 to June 2021 as Physician Executive, Acute Care and Hospital Medicine, Division Medical Director, Facility Medical Director, and Observation Unit Director, Hospitalist. Syed Jafri holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business and completed a residency at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
