Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Ascensia Diabetes Care since August 2017, Thomas develops technologies for diabetes management and holds eight patents that enhance the company's intellectual property. As a co-founder of Mayer Applied Science, Thomas specializes in mechanical and electro-mechanical design, offering innovative solutions across diverse industries. Previously, Thomas held roles at OrthAlign, Inc., Stryker, and Globus Medical, focusing on quality system improvements, product development leadership, and design initiatives in orthopaedic instruments. Thomas started a career in engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, gaining valuable experience through various co-op positions.
