Charles Baugus has extensive experience in logistics management, currently serving as a Senior Logistics Specialist at Ascend Performance Materials since June 2019, overseeing outbound chemical shipments. Previously, Charles held roles such as Rail/Barge Logistics Coordinator at Big River Steel and MCCP Pool Manager at Consolidated Chassis Management, LLC, where responsibilities included logistics and maintenance for container chassis pools. Additional roles include Shipping Superintendent at CF Industries, managing various outbound shipments, and Plant Logistics Manager at Cargill, overseeing materials and finished goods. Earlier in the career, Charles worked in intermodal operations and carrier management at Transplace, Dart Intermodal, and Intermodal Sales Corporation, starting with FedEx as a Ramp Agent. Charles holds a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Memphis State University.
