Kirby Winfield is a seasoned venture capital professional and technology executive with extensive experience in founding and managing startups and investments. Currently serving as Founding General Partner at Ascend, a pre-seed stage VC fund, and Investor in Residence at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2), Kirby has also held board positions at Bean Box, Keepe, SyncFloor, and Spectrio. Notable prior roles include Co-founder and CEO of Dwellable, which was acquired by HomeAway, and President and CEO of AdXpose, acquired by comScore, where assistance in achieving a $100M ARR post-deal was significant. Kirby holds a BA in English from Middlebury College and has completed coursework towards a JD at Seattle University School of Law.
