Paul Clifton is a seasoned professional in operational excellence with extensive experience in the beverage and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as the Group Head of OPEX and CAPEX at Asahi Beverages since May 2024, Paul is responsible for Lean Manufacturing, Learning and Development, and capital and operational excellence within the manufacturing and logistics network. Prior to this role, Paul held various significant positions at Carlton & United Breweries from August 2013 to May 2024, including Plant Manager of the Yatala Brewery and Packaging Operations Manager. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Unilever Australia Trading Ltd and Unilever New Zealand Trading Ltd, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Production Engineer to Plant Manager, as well as tenure as Engineering Superintendent at Unilever Bestfoods in South Africa. Paul's career spans nearly two decades across multiple countries, showcasing a strong foundation in manufacturing and engineering management.
