Laura Gage is a seasoned microbiologist with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as a Senior Microbiology Manager at Arxada since September 2022, Laura previously worked at Solvay from February 2017 to November 2021, holding the titles of Project Manager, Corporate Microbiology Lab Manager, and Senior Microbiologist, where technical leadership was provided to the Micro and Environmental Team. Prior to that, Laura was a Senior Microbiologist at Albemarle Corporation from August 2011 to February 2017, contributing to diverse responsibilities including fundamental research and microbiological test development as part of the Food Safety group. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology from Montana State University-Bozeman and an Executive MBA from the LSU Flores MBA Program. Additional academic experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Stanford University focusing on E. coli resistance mechanisms in a near-zero gravity environment, as well as early research roles at the Center for Biofilm Engineering.
