Stefan Engelhard is an experienced Endovascular Product Specialist at Artivion, Inc. since November 2021. Previously, Stefan served as a Private First Class in the Korps Nationale Reserve from September 2013 to June 2022. As a Clinical Researcher and PhD candidate at Rijnstate from January 2017 to October 2021, Stefan conducted significant research on in vivo quantification of blood flow using high-frame-rate contrast-enhanced ultrasound and particle image velocimetry. Key responsibilities included managing clinical studies, obtaining ethical approvals, executing complex data analysis, and publishing scientific articles. Stefan has also been involved in teaching and supervising students. Stefan holds a PhD in Blood Flow Quantification in the Aortoiliac Arteries with Ultrasound Velocimetry and a Master's degree in Technical Medicine, both from the University of Twente. Early career experiences include positions as a student assistant, snowboard instructor, door-to-door salesman, and waiter.
