Landon Tompkins, Ph.D., is a Principal Research and Development Engineer at Artivion, Inc. since October 2022, with prior experience as Director of Engineering at Myocardial Assist Systems & Technology (MAST) LLC and Cor Habere Corp. Tompkins has also served as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Cor Habere Corp and as a Graduate Researcher in the Advanced Heart Failure Research Group at the University of Louisville. Earlier in the career, Tompkins held the position of Director of Engineering and Biomedical Engineer at SCR Inc., following a role as a Performance Engineering Co-op at UPS. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Translational Bioengineering, a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, all obtained from the University of Louisville.
