Robert Staton is a highly experienced technology and legal professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Artium since April 2020, previously holding the position of Principal Engineer. Staton has a strong background in software engineering and project management, having worked as the Director of Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at Tongal from November 2017 to April 2020. Earlier, Staton was a Senior Software Developer at Metronome Software, where responsibilities included core coding and technical direction. In addition to technical roles, Staton has legal experience as General Counsel, managing contracts and legal documents, and as a Graduate Intern in the Enforcement Division at the California Department of Corporations. Staton's educational credentials include a B.S. in Information & Computer Science from UC Irvine and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law.
