Benny Cruz is a Technical Designer at Artistic Entertainment Services, specializing in the design and documentation of parade floats and large scenic elements. With experience as Vice President of Cal Poly Amusement Park Engineers & Designers, Benny coordinated tours and events for students in themed entertainment and provided leadership for the ‘Ride Engineering Competition.’ As Construction Chair for Cal Poly Rose Float, Benny led a team in creating a float for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, utilizing strong collaboration and project management skills. Previous roles include Mechanical Design Intern at Ambi Robotics, where Benny enhanced production sorting units, and various positions in technical theater and construction. Benny holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
