Omar Antonio Pappalardo is an experienced professional in the fields of biomedical engineering and cardiovascular science, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Artiness since May 2017. Prior to this role, Omar held postdoctoral researcher positions at Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato and Politecnico di Milano, as well as a PhD candidacy in cardiovascular science at the University of Verona from November 2014 to April 2018. Additional experience includes research fellowships at Leiden University Medical Center and a research trainee position at Mayo Clinic. Omar holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomechanics and Biomaterials from Politecnico di Milano, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution. Educational background also includes completion of secondary education at Liceo Scientifico.
