Anuruddha Premalal has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Anuruddha is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Arta Finance since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Meta from November 2021 to October 2022.

Anuruddha also served as a Principal Software Engineer at Envision Digital from July 2020 to August 2021. Before that, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Screening Eagle Technologies, where they designed and developed cloud services for an IoT platform. Anuruddha implemented various functionalities such as data synchronization, analytics, data sharing, authentication, and reporting using a React-Redux stack. Anuruddha also dockerized deployment artifacts.

Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Savantis Solutions LLC, where they led the design and development of a multi-tenant WiFi services and analytics platform. Anuruddha implemented a microservices-based cloud architecture and provided technical support to clients. Anuruddha also streamlined engineering processes and mentored team members.

Anuruddha's experience at WSO2 as a Software Engineer involved contributing to the development of an open-source devops platform called WSO2 AppFactory. Anuruddha also provided consultancy and training sessions on WSO2 products and conducted code reviews.

Furthermore, Anuruddha contributed to the Mifos Initiative as a Google Summer of Code Mentor. Anuruddha helped students with project proposals and mentored a student in implementing a command line tool for AppFactory.

In 2013, Anuruddha served as a Google Summer of Code Intern at Mifos Initiative, where they implemented caching support and pagination for platform APIs.

Prior to their software engineering roles, Anuruddha worked as an Associate Research Engineer at Einsights Pte. Ltd. in 2012.

With their extensive experience in software engineering, Anuruddha has consistently demonstrated their skills in design, development, and leadership roles.

Anuruddha Premalal attended the University of Moratuwa from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Bsc.) degree in Engineering. During their education, they also acquired various additional certifications in different fields. In June 2009, they obtained the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems. Then, in March 2012, they completed a course in Natural Language Processing from Coursera. In July 2012, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning, also from Coursera. Furthermore, in June 2013, they completed a course titled "Introduction to Data Science" from Coursera. Anuruddha Premalal's most recent certification was as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, which they obtained from Amazon Web Services in January 2018.
