Elisabeth Fogt serves as the Associate VIP Manager Europe at Art Basel since January 2023. Prior to this role, Elisabeth held the position of Marketing & Partnerships at Weng Contemporary from January 2022 to December 2022. Elisabeth has an extensive academic background, including a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Art History and Photography from the University of Essex, where Elisabeth also worked as a Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant from October 2016 to June 2021. Additional experience includes a Contemporary Art Internship at Sotheby's, a Photography Internship at HGEsch Photography, and a Gallery Internship at Gagosian Gallery. Elisabeth's educational qualifications also feature an MA in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster, studies in the History of Art at The University of Freiburg, and a degree in Art History and German from the University of Essex, along with a Bilingual International Baccalaureate from the International School of Basel.
