Ruggero Calamai is an experienced professional currently serving as Chief of Staff at Arsenale BioYards since April 2024. Prior roles include Investment Analyst positions at Octagon Capital Srl and Angel Capital Management S.p.A. as well as a Venture Capital Analyst Intern at U-Start, where Ruggero worked on deal analysis and financial valuations in the Venture Capital sector. Ruggero co-founded a partnership between Marangoni and Luisa Via Roma SPA, developing a co-branded sweater project, and also co-founded the London expansion for È Pasta, creating a comprehensive business plan. Leadership experience includes serving as Board Member and Head of Events for the Bocconi Economics Student Association, along with an internship as a Research Analyst at GAMCO Investors, Inc. Ruggero holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Management from Università Bocconi, complemented by an education at UWC-USA and the International Community School of Addis Ababa.
