Tom Allen is an experienced sports science professional currently serving as the Head of Sports Science and Performance at Arsenal F.C. since July 2017, having previously held the position of Lead Sports Scientist. Prior to this, Tom worked at Aston Villa Football Club from October 2011 to July 2017, where responsibilities included monitoring the training load of the first team squad and developing performance and injury risk models. Tom's background includes a Master's degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Staffordshire University and a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham, accompanied by early experience as a First Team Sports Science Intern.
