Heleen Westerhuijs, PCC, IMBA has extensive work experience in executive coaching and organizational consulting. Heleen is currently working as a PrinciplesYou Certified Coach at Principles: A Ray Dalio Company, where they help individuals gain self-awareness and make effective decisions. Heleen is also a PCC at the International Coaching Federation, providing coaching expertise to clients. Prior to these roles, they worked as an Executive Coach PCC at Arootah and SkillCycle, focusing on the growth and potential of individuals in their careers. Heleen founded The Coaching Forward, where they utilized data-driven executive and performance coaching backed by neuroscience. Heleen also has experience as an Executive Coach at BRAVANTI (formerly BPI group U.S.) and held various roles at Citco Fund Services, including Senior Analyst, Global Subsidiary Governance Services, and Director. Additionally, they co-founded the New York office for Organize Agile, a team of coaches and consultants dedicated to agile transformation in organizations. Heleen's diverse experience across coaching, leadership, and consulting has equipped their with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to drive impactful change.

Heleen Westerhuijs, PCC, IMBA has a diverse education history that spans a wide range of fields. Starting in 2003, they attended the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and earned a degree in International Design & Style, with a focus on Design History. In 2004, they continued their studies at the University of Amsterdam, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Art History. Heleen further pursued higher education at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Art- and Architectural History in 2007.

In 2008, Heleen attended the Language Institute Regina Coeli and completed a course focused on Business English writing and speaking, earning a C2-level certificate. Heleen then went on to study at New York University and obtained Advanced Studies degrees in Editing in 2010 and in Writing in 2016.

Heleen's interest in coaching and psychology led their to pursue various certifications and training programs. From 2017 to 2018, they attended the Center for Executive Coaching and obtained the ICF certification in Power & Influence® Coaching and Executive Coaching. In 2018, they enrolled in the Mindsight Institute, where they completed a course on Attachment Styles and its impact on decision-making. Additionally, they studied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania under the guidance of Dr. Martin Seligman and Dr. Angela Duckworth.

In 2019, Heleen focused on further expanding their knowledge in neuroscience and positive intelligence. Heleen attended the University of Chicago for a course on Understanding The Brain: Neurobiology of Everyday Life and engaged in the study of Positive Intelligence® through a program provided by the Positive Intelligence organization. Heleen also pursued an online program in Psychology at Yale University.

Continuing their personal and professional development, Heleen completed additional certifications and training in various fields. Heleen obtained a certificate in Brain-Based Conversingâ„¢ from the NeuroLeadership Institute NYC in 2021 and completed the Inner MBA program offered by New York University in 2022. In 2022, they also participated in training sessions on Emotional Intelligence: Foundational Skills of Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman, Quantum Power by Dr. Jean Houston, and Neuroscience of Relationship by Dr. Mark Robert Waldman.

Recently, Heleen has acquired additional certifications and memberships. Heleen earned the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation in April 2023, and in the same year, obtained the Foundational Skills of Emotional Intelligence certificate from Key Step Media.
