Samuel Hodgson is currently serving as an AI Research Engineer at Arondite since February 2024. Previously, Samuel worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Oxford from March 2023 to March 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing labs for MSc students in Embedded Software and Systems and Things of the Internet courses. Prior to this, Samuel held the position of Technology Analyst at 1818 Venture Capital from July 2022 to February 2024, focusing on maintaining the tech stack and gaining insights into early-stage funding and private market investments. An internship experience at BAE Systems in summer 2021 included a focus on aerospace engineering, though it was shortened due to COVID-19. Early experience also includes a sales assistant role at Seaquest Marine Ltd. Samuel is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at the University of Oxford, following a Master of Engineering in Electronics from Durham University, and has completed a Credential of Readiness in Financial Accounting, Business Analytics, and Economics for Managers from Harvard Business School Online.
