Stuart Heron BSc (Hons) has extensive experience in the engineering and drilling sectors, currently serving as Field Support at ARO Drilling since February 2020. Previously held the position of Hydraulic Technician at Ensco where responsibilities included managing the service, fault diagnosis, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Stuart also worked as a Nightshift Mechanic at an offshore company in the Gulf, focusing on maintenance and repairs to minimize rig downtime. Experience as a Marine Pumpman at Woodgroup involved maintaining cargo handling equipment and enhancing engineering knowledge through collaboration with Mechanical Technicians. Stuart's career began in the Royal Navy, where roles included Senior Marine Engineering Technician and Senior Engineering Technician, managing significant mechanical engineering projects and proposing design solutions to reduce equipment repair costs. Stuart holds an Honours Degree in Engineering and Management Studies from the University of Portsmouth.
