Neil Brown is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in financial planning, analysis, and management across various regions and companies in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and Controller at ARO Drilling since October 2017, Neil previously held positions such as Region Finance Manager for both the Middle East and North Sea Regions at Rowan Companies. Neil's extensive experience includes roles at Baker Hughes, Dril-Quip, MacGregor Energy Services Ltd, and Technip, where responsibilities encompassed budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and oversight of finance functions. Neil holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies from Robert Gordon University and has a well-established trajectory in the finance field since beginning career after high school in 1991.
