Markus Walter is an experienced professional in chemical engineering, currently serving as OPEX Lead at ARLANXEO since November 2016. In this role, Markus leads and initiates improvement projects, develops and implements OPEX strategies, and focuses on operational excellence, including LEAN production and six sigma methodologies. Previous positions include Process Engineer, where Markus specialized in process optimization and compliance with German wastewater treatment legislation, and Lead Process Engineer, which involved project engineering, HAZOP discussions, and enhancing HSE standards. Markus began as an Engineering Trainee, gaining international experience and knowledge in polymer chemistry. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
