Thorkild Qvist Frandsen is a seasoned professional in agriculture sustainability and bioresources, currently serving as a Senior Consultant for Agricultural Sustainability at Arla Foods since March 2023. Prior to this role, Thorkild led the Bioresources team at Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, focusing on the circular bioeconomy through technology innovation and business development from April 2020 to March 2023. Thorkild had a significant tenure at the Danish Technological Institute, first as Director of the Centre for Bioresources and Biorefinery, overseeing sustainable biomass production technologies, and previously as Head of Section for Environmental Technologies, aimed at reducing emissions in livestock production. Earlier experience includes positions at SEGES, AgroTech, and the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service, where Thorkild built expertise in environmental technology and bioenergy consultancy. Education credentials include an M.Sc. in Natural Resources Management and Policy from The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Denmark and a degree in Business Administration from Aarhus University.
