Johnson Huynh has over sixteen years of work experience in the engineering and energy industries. Johnson began their career in 2005 as an Electrical Engineer at Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd. In 2006, they joined the Southern Regional Water Pipeline Alliance as an Electrical Design & Commissioning Engineer. Johnson then moved to AdelaideAqua in 2009 as a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer. In 2011, they began working for the Toowoomba Pipeline Alliance as a Commissioning Review Team - Electrical and Project Commissioning Manager for the Toowoomba Pipeline Alliance Flood Remediation Works Project. Johnson also worked for Northern Network Alliance in the same year as a Senior Commissioning Engineer. In 2012, they joined Origin Energy as a Snr E&I Engineer and Snr Electrical Construction Engineer - APLNG Gathering Implementation. Johnson then moved to Aspire Engineering Pty Ltd in 2011 as Managing Director/Project Manager. Their most recent role was at Arkon Energy as a Project Manager, which they began in 2022.
Johnson Huynh obtained a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Queensland between 2001 and 2005. In 2011, they obtained a CPEng - Chartered Professional Engineer from Engineers Australia and a RPEQ - Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland from the National Engineering Registration Board. In 2012, they obtained a Hazardous Areas - Classification and Design certification from Competency Training. Additionally, they hold certifications in Certificate II in Plant Support Operations - Confined Space from Australasian Fire & Safety Pty Ltd, Certificate III in ESI Generation - HV Operations & Switching from Competency Training, Certificate IV in Project Management from KBR Business Development, and LV Rescue & Resuscitation from Peer Training.
