Simon Friis Mortensen is a professional in urban planning and human geography with extensive experience in leadership and project management. Currently serving as Teamleder and Kreativ leder at Arkitema since September 2017, Simon specializes in community geography and urban planning. Previously, Simon worked as an Arealplanlegger for Vestby kommune, managing area and detailed regulatory plans. Academic roles include a position as Disputasassistent and Seminarleder at Universitetet i Oslo, alongside experience as Team Leder at RetailWise and as a lærervikar at Oehlenschlægersgade Skole. Simon holds a Master’s degree in Human Geography from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor of Science in Human Geography from Roskilde University.
