João Magalhães has been working in the tech industry since 2020. In 2020, they worked as an Application Developer for Accenture Portugal. In 2021, they worked as a DevOps Engineer for Santander Portugal, where they maintained and improved the bank's devops platform, which included a portal and api that made all the provisioning necessary to deploy an application (kubernetes/openshift using helm charts), including the gocd ci/cd pipelines. João also implemented an event streaming solution using kafka and knative to run jobs in order to improve pipeline performance. In 2022, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer for Teralytics. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer for Arkadium.

João Magalhães holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
