Sally C. Morton is an accomplished academic and leader in the fields of statistics and biostatistics, currently serving as the Executive Vice President at Arizona State University since 2021. Previously, Sally held significant roles at Virginia Tech from 2016 to 2020 as the Dean of the College of Science and a professor in the Department of Statistics. From 2010 to 2016, Sally was a professor and chair of the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh, where Sally also directed the Comparative Effectiveness Research Center at the Health Policy Institute. Sally's industry experience includes serving as Vice President of Statistics and Epidemiology at RTI International from 2005 to 2010, and leading the Statistics Group at RAND Corporation from 1989 to 2005. Sally C. Morton completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics at Stanford University, and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with two additional Master's degrees in Operations Research and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University.
